Redesign from Design
It's crucial for product designers to grow from failures and achieve advancements. As a group, we were unable to create the anticipated joyous and playful experience, which was the project's primary emphasis and objective. As a result, when I revisited this project, I concentrated more on my research and further developed my design concepts. The answer was to develop a design for physical well-being that is mobile but secure for all users and age groups. The main objective is to create a joyful environment that encourages social interaction and togetherness.
I got my idea from St. Paul Cathedral's dome design and ability to spin like a toy made of wood, which I observed in public areas of London. In a park next to St. Paul Cathedral, these chairs can be positioned. I quickly sketched out a second idea for how spinning a chair around its axis may be fun. I was able to gain experience as a designer how to draw inspiration from everything in my environment and turn it into a design concept.
